Penshoppe Undercover Launch at Warehouse 135

What lies beneath

by Rey Ilagan

Penshoppe launches a new underwear line for the style sleuth. Leave it to retail trailblazer Penshoppe to set a style agenda for underwear beyond the merely sexy.
Named "Undercover," this new line involves a deeper sartorial experience for its wearer. Putting on underwear now becomes as fun and exciting as taking on a new identity, mood, or even a whole new persona, allowing for versatility and playfulness while trying on a pair of classic briefs, trendy hipster briefs or comfortable boxer briefs.

Distinguished by classic white elastic waistbands, the line’s basic style comes in trendy, hip colors as well the traditional white, black and gray varieties. For those living on the edge, Penshoppe also creates novelty designs in a dazzling array of funky prints and colors to express more individuality. Also developed for the Undercover line is the bolder, contrasting hue on the elastic waistband, worthy to be seen peeping out of your jeans or trousers without the usual public cringe.

With the brand’s focus on "style spies" for this underwear line, the launch at Warehouse 135 took on an air of anticipation as Penshoppe unveiled its hyped "man of mystery," the Brazilian model Akihiro Sato, the latest to join the brand’s stellar cast of endorsers. Club Pen members Victor Basa and Vicky Herrera, meanwhile, introduced this new line for "style sleuths."
